OPEN LOOP

Squaring the circle rethought. OPEN LOOP breaks up familiar patterns and playfully treads new paths in endless recombination of itself. Sounds tricky? But it is not. This work of art by designer Eva Langhans follows the simple principle of the four-four time pattern of a good pop song. The carpet is produced as a closed circular pattern of strong, braided polypropylene strands, only to be reassembled after being cut into square quarters. Opened up in this way, the pattern and structure of this Floorwear® create a space full of creativity. Whether indoors or outdoors, in the kitchen, bathroom or living area - the polypropylene yarn used makes OPEN LOOP® not only particularly robust and water-repellent, but also universally applicable. Unlimited freedom in geometric versatility. OPEN LOOP ... and in the end we come full circle.
